Scandal continues to dog Jay Smith and Ashley Martson of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé! What have they done this time?!

First, a little bit of backstory, Ashley Martson met Jay Smith while on vacation in Jamaica. Jay was bartending in a club when he caught the 31-year-old’s eye.
The two had an immediate connection, but they did not keep in touch when Ashley went home. That is, until Jay reached out to the mother-of-two via social media. Match made in heaven?
In a long-distance romance, she talked to the 20-year-old for six months before returning to Jamaica to visit her new boo.
The Caribbean native proposed to her after just 8 days spent together. They have been enthusiastically planning their wedding on the show, but racist backlash against the couple caused them to question their ceremony ideas in recent episodes.
Another issue facing the couple has been Jay’s hard partying ways. Ashley’s best friend even publicly accused her maybe-husband of cheating on her! The Pennsylvania native revealed in a shocking confession that she did not care about the concerns of those close to her.
And now a new scandal has emerged! Avid TLC viewers have uncovered some shady stuff that went down on Facebook long before Ashley was the star of 90 Day Fiancė.
The Facebook post clearly states that Ashley was struck and killed by a drunk driver. It reads: “Ashley was out having a fun time with friends and was driving home when she was struck and killed by a drunk driver.”
The post is from a few years ago, and it was posted from the town of Mechanicsburg, PA where she lives, and it actually names her as the girl who was killed in the crash.
