Alexsandro Pereira is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and former kickboxer who competes in the UFC’s Middleweight division (UFC). Pereira, who grew up in a slum, dropped out of middle school at the age of 12 to begin working at a tire store. Under the influence of his coworkers, he began drinking and gradually developed into an alcoholic.
He is a former Glory middleweight and light heavyweight champion in kickboxing and has also participated in Its Showtime and SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship. As of 5 September 2022, he is ranked fourth in the UFC middleweight division.
