Today is a sad day in Hollywood. Ashley Nissenberg, a rising lawyer, passed away on Saturday at the age of 41, surrounded by her family.
She had been diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer over a year ago as a partner at the powerhouse Los Angeles entertainment law firm Yorn Levine Barnes Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner Endlich and Gellman.
In a statement, the firm’s partners stated, “Ashley was an indelible figure in the fabric, life, and culture of our business and our practice.”
“Ashley was a tenacious and successful champion for her clients, whom she adored and cared for in ways that words cannot express.”
Before being confirmed to the Supreme Court in October 2018, Brett served as a judge on the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Ashley Nissenberg husband: Who is Brett?
Brett Kavanaugh was born in Washington, D.C., in 1965, and began his legal career after graduating from Yale Law School in 1990.
Brett entered the George W. Bush White House as a lawyer and staff secretary after supporting special counsel Kenneth Starr’s investigations of Bill Clinton’s professional and personal activities.
In 2006, Bret was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, where he solidified his conservative credentials by writing rulings in favor of the Second Amendment and religious liberty, among other things.
Brett’s Wife and Children
While working for the Bush administration, Kavanaugh met his future wife, Ashley.
Brett remembered their first date on September 10, 2001, and how she “was a source of strength for President Bush and for everyone in this building” in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks while accepting the Supreme Court nomination from President Trump in the White House.
Margaret and Elizabeth, their two kids, were born after they married in 2004.
