Arguably one of the greatest Centre backs of his generation, Gary Cahill’s impact on the field would surely be missed. Gary was born on the 19th of December 1985 in Dronfield, England. Right from an early age, Gary’s talent was noticeable, and would begin his journey by playing for the local youth side of Dronfield before making the move to Aston Villa where his talent was continually groomed. He had short stints at Burnley, and Sheffield before finally making that big move to Chelsea which we can all agree was the peak of his career.
At Chelsea, he won a tall list of trophies which includes the Uefa Champions league, Premier league, F.A cup, and a lot more whilst playing an integral part of the team. In 2010, he made his National debut for the three lions of England by coming as a substitute against Bulgaria. After what has been nothing short of an extraordinary career, Gary finally called it a day on his football career on the 16th of November 2022.
