Okay, so it looks like Jenny McCarthy just announced her engagement today on The View. Jenny has been dating Donnie Wahlberg for what? Less than a year – they confirmed they were dating last summer, in July. So he proposed to her after approximately eight or nine months of dating? Okay, that’s not SO crazy. I think it’s probably about average actually. And Donnie proposed to her with an absolutely giant yellow sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Is this cute? I don’t know. I’m missing the bride gene, but I love jewelry so I want to talk about the ring. The ring is ridiculous. It’s so huge!!! And a yellow sapphire is a unique choice – I guess people will probably think it’s a canary diamond because it’s basically the same color. As for Jenny’s excitement… congrats to her. How many times has she been engaged now? I think this is the fourth time?
Good luck to you too, Donnie. I actually sort of like him so I don’t know how all of this is going to end.
