[By now I’ve realized that Miley Cyrus didn’t really shave her eyebrows but either bleached them or added some “blonding” makeup (is that a thing?). The brows are back in their brunette flavor again. Meh.]
Miley tried to go androgynous at the AMAs in a white Versus Versace suit with nothing else going on in the chest area. No shirt of course. She posed with her dad, Billy Ray, who has regressed into his mullet. Maybe that awful hairstyle reminds him of a simpler time before Miley was ripping off her clothes for attention. The sunglasses might be an attempt to divert us all from his daughter’s cleave. Enough with my conspiracy theories.
What do you think of Miley’s suit? So many women have worn this exact look so much better than Miley, but that probably won’t stop her from claiming she was the first one to do it. She already acts like she’s the first person to ever wear white. Miley even claimed to be “on a whole other level of sh-t” than other girls because she wears white. Sadly, Miley looks extremely bland (even with the “safe” black pumps) in this suit because trash-and-flash is the name of her game. I’m surprised she went very simple with her hair and makeup too. Oh well.
Miley switched outfits for her performance and donned a high-cut lavender swimsuit to sing “Wrecking Ball.” She stood in front of a screen flashing a creepy, anime-looking kitty kat. Her voice sounded nearly as rough as it did a week ago. So much for vocal rest.
Here are some more Miley tidbits.
* Miley’s home was burglarized last Friday. No snark here. That really sucks, and I wouldn’t wish a home burglary on anyone. At least she wasn’t home during the incident.
* Life & Style magazine published an unsurprising story about how Miley’s mom, Tish, “would never think to stage an intervention” for any of Miley’s behavior. As for Billy Ray’s view on Miley’s drugging and twerking, he reportedly “hopes it’s just a phase.” Preach it, pretend Billy Ray.
* Miley celebrated her 21st birthday on Saturday by kissing her dogs on the mouth (I’ve included photos at the bottom of this post). That’s so gross I can’t even properly discuss it. She also tweeted a photo of “the gayest birthday cake ever.” It looks surprisingly delicious, right?
