Oh, Blranda! Where did it all go wrong? It’s sort of unbelievable to think how Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert fell apart so quickly, not to mention how they managed to have one of the fastest divorces in celebrity history. Not to mention how the gossip around the split escalated to DEFCON 1 in record time. Team Blake threw their side of the story out first, claiming Miranda didn’t want babies and that she was a dirty low-down cheater. Team Miranda came out yesterday saying NO, Blake was the cheater, obviously. My question: is this an either/or proposition? Can’t it be BOTH? What if they were both cheating? Anyway, the latest attack comes from Team Blake, via Access Hollywood. According to their Team Blake sources, Miranda admitted a “long time affair” and that why Blake filed for divorce so suddenly.
New details continue to emerge following Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s shocking split. While reports of infidelity have swirled around the couple – with both Blake and Miranda as the targets of the rumors, a source now tells Access Hollywood that it was Miranda who cheated.
According to the source, the country songstress had a “long time affair” with someone in the music business and when Blake confronted her about it, she admitted to it. It was then that the “Voice” coach decided to end the marriage.
The source – who claimed that Blake has never cheated on Miranda – also shot down the rumor that differing opinions on having children caused the split, noting that discussions about having kids had nothing to do with the breakup.
Do you believe this? I’m at the point in the he-said/she-said gossip that I sort of believe everything and nothing. I believe Blake is really going after Miranda. HARD. I also believe that he might have some legitimate “reasons” for going after her. And of course I believe that Blake was cheating too, because seriously, so many rumors about that and those rumors have been around for YEARS.
The name I keep hearing with regards to Blake’s “other woman” is Cady Groves. Radar has a story about Cady possibly tweeting a bunch of stuff this week that seemed aimed at Blake. I don’t know? Whatever.
A few more things – Blake and Miranda have both deleted their social media photos of each other. Miranda has canceled one concert and Blake is back at work on The Voice in LA. Which leads me to this TMZ story up this morning – TMZ’s sources say the marriage fell apart because Blake was too ambitious and he prioritized The Voice over their marriage. Miranda “felt like an abandoned wife…She says he had to spend between 7 and 8 months a year in Los Angeles … a place she ‘hates.'” Miranda would still come to visit him in LA, even if it was just for a day, but Blake would rarely make time to come see her when she was in Oklahoma or on the road. Considering that Blake is (even now) back in LA, the messaging definitely seems to be “business as usual for Blake while Miranda is devastated.”
